Nonita Lall Qureshi – Tour Ambassador

After graduating from LSR , Nonita took up golf in a big way and has spent the last many years at the forefront of the sport. Nonita a member of the Delhi Golf Club, was the club’s and the country’s best amateur golfer for more than 11 years and has many records to her name. She has won the All India six times, Northern India nine times, Western India 5 times and Eastern India 9 times.She has won tournaments in Hong Kong 1985, Thailand 1995,Malaysia 1991,,Sri Lanka 1991,Bangladesh 1991,Pakistan 1992,94,96 and NS Golf Australia in 1987. Nonita has represented India at t Queen Srikit Cup, Malaysian Amateur, Hong Kong Amateur, Singapore Amateur, Asian Games, British Amateur, European Womens Amateur, European Womens Open, Australian Amateur, New Zealand Amateur, German Open and LPGA McDonalds Open. For her outstanding achievements in golf Nonita was conferred the Arjuna Award in 1987. 

In 1999, Nonita decided to become turn professional and has been instrumental in founding the Indian National Golf Academy and is currently a staff member and also the Vice President of the Womens PGA of India. Nonita has been coach of the Indian Womens and Junior Girls Team from 1999-2003, and coach of the Indian Mens team to the Nomura cup in 2009.

Nonita has a passion for teaching and has a lot of juniors under her belt and has been involved in the training of 10 young caddy boys through an organization called The Golf Foundation, which is a non-profit organization. It has a sponsorship that was arranged by Nonita herself with HSBC India for the training and upliftment of these boys.Nonita is a passionate wildlife enthusiast, a keen photographer and a nature lover.

Faisal Qureshi – Founder

Faisal is a golf professional, who has played the Indian , Asian and Pakistan circuits, represented Pakistan in many International events and has been Pakistan’s No 1 amateur and professional. He married Nonita and moved to Sri Lanka where he was the Head golf professional at the Royal Colombo Golf Club for 4 years and after that assignment he shifted to India,where he helped Pgm run the golf operations at Golden Greens Golf Resort, and Karmalakelands. He has also helped Nonita in a couple of Junior training programmes at the Delhi Golf Club. Faisal is a favourite with kids and has taken a few groups to Italy and UK. He has also invited Bolton Wanderers International Soccer school coaches to India and also the Orlando Magic Basketball club youth coaches.

Apart from golf Faisal has been a marketing person , and has worked for American Express Travel, Air Travel Concept ( travel agency),and PIA ( national airline of Pakistan),his last assignment was Deputy general manager & Director golf & Recreation at Royal Palm Golf & Country Club, Lahore, Pakistan.

Faisal has organized many a golf events also, and also been instrumental in raising funds for the earthquake victims of Pakistan & India through auction of golfing items of players like Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Nick Faldo, Seve Ballestores, Colin Montgomierie, Bernhard Langer to name a few.
